The Little Book of Hygge

Hygge: pronounces Hoo-ga is the Danish way of simple and comfy living.
“Get comfy. Take a break.
Be here now. Turn off the phones.
Turn down the lights. Bring out the candles.
Build relationships. Spend time with your tribe.
Give yourself a break from the demands of healthy living. Cake is most definitely Hygge.
Live life today, like there is no coffee tomorrow.
From picking the right lighting to organizing a Hygge get-together to dressing hygge, Wiking shows you how to experience more joy and contentment the Danish way.” 💕

      1. No, we have not been to visit, although Lise has begged us to come. I won’t get on an airplane again. I have circulation issues, and I get very stiff when sitting still for long periods. We did enjoy Denmark together 40 years ago!

      2. I took a photo of a row of houses, because they were built for workers centuries ago. When Lise saw that picture a few years ago, she realized it was her bus stop. At the time, she worked near the statue of the Little Mermaid, which everyone goes to see.
